Common challenges
Student stops playing mid-arc. Have a graceful exit plan. Their character can be transferred to NPC or simply left as a "departed citizen."
Toxic behavior in a class context. Take it seriously. Eco rewards cooperation; players who consistently defect from group goals can be sidelined via in-game laws or, in extreme cases, removed.
Performance issues during class. Your server going down at 1:30 PM on a Tuesday is a real problem. Test thoroughly and have a backup plan (could you finish the session offline by displaying recent server state?).
One student dominates. Eco can foster monopolies if not balanced. Pass laws that limit single-player accumulation. Encourage diversification.
