About AndroHost.

AndroHost is game-server hosting for people who want to actually run their world, not babysit infrastructure. The panel works the same every time. The server starts in seconds. When something breaks, a person reads the email.

We are a sub-brand of Andromeda Hosting, an operator-owned shop running on hardware we own and a network we configure ourselves. AndroHost is the games flavor of that stack.

Where this came from.

AndroHost did not start as a company. It started as a kid on Long Island who wanted to play Minecraft, did not have the money, and went around collecting bottles from neighbors' recycling bins to earn enough to buy the game.

That kid eventually found a Minecraft community he loved, was given his first real responsibility moderating it, and watched it shut down a few years later because the economics did not work. The lesson stuck. If you do not control the infrastructure your community lives on, the community is not really yours.

So we started our own server. Then a second one. We learned that decommissioned enterprise hardware, the kind local businesses were paying to throw away, ran a Minecraft world just fine. We spent years collecting old networking gear and server racks from anyone who would give them to us, set them up in a basement, and started running games for our friends. Friends asked if we would host theirs. That is how AndroHost happened.

We see the world as one big Minecraft server. Our job is to build the tools and the infrastructure that let other people share their corner of it.

What we do.

  • Servers that start fast and stay up. 30 to 60 seconds from payment to login. Tick rate holds when the lobby fills.
  • Backups every day, tested. 14 days of rolling history. We restore something on purpose every month so we know the path works.
  • Current-gen Intel and AMD cores that boost to 5 GHz under load. We do not name SKUs because next quarter they will be different.
  • Support that reads the message. Discord is fastest. Email works. Tickets get assigned. We close with a satisfaction prompt so we know if we missed.

How we run.

Hardware lives in our racks in the New York metro. Edge surfaces ride an anycast network so the marketing site, panel, and status board reach you from the closest POP. Game traffic takes the shortest path to our paid game nodes, which sit on high-clock CPUs tuned for single-thread workloads.

We still source hardware the same way we did at the start. Enterprise gear that a Fortune 500 wrote off as past its depreciation cycle runs a Minecraft server for the next decade without breaking a sweat. We pair that with current-gen high-frequency CPUs so single-threaded game ticks have headroom. The result is a stack that costs us less to operate and costs you less to rent.

The customer console, the status page, the modpack catalog, the Discord bot, and every line of code that touches your account were written in-house. Same brand, same people, all the way down. Worlds replicate nightly to a second site. Suspended accounts keep their data for 14 days so you can come back without losing progress.

What we believe.

  • Honest pricing. Two dollars per GB of RAM. Monthly, prorated up or down. No setup fee, no surprise renewal, no one-year-required dance.
  • Your data is yours. Cancel and we ship you a clean export of your world if you ask. Account closed, files archived, no upsell pop-ups on the way out.
  • No upsell theater. One plan, one price per GB. What you pay for is what you get, not a crippled trial nosing you toward a paywall.
  • Boring, on purpose. Game hosting that works the same on Tuesday as it did on Saturday is the whole point. We pick durability over novelty in the parts customers touch.

The bigger picture.

AndroHost is one piece of a larger ecosystem of people we work with and projects we run. The short list of things worth pointing at:

Run a world worth coming back to.
